How to Beat the Winter Blues with the Joy of Chanuka

So Sukkos has passed and so has the 'high' of being around family, days filled with shaking lulav and all that food. Diving straight into the winter z'man, rain and clouds on the horizon and with no Jewish holidays this month (being Cheshvan), how do you keep positive?

How to Beat the Winter Blues? With the Joy of Chanuka...

doughnut inspiration for chanuka

So every year in my home, as soon as Sukkos goes we start to think about Chanuka, even buy some doughnuts to convince ourselves. We talk aloud about the music, the kumzits, the parties and the warmth of the miracle of Chanuka that is in the near future.

What better way to keep off the blues than to talk of doughnuts?

Do you dream of those different flavours you will try this year? Either to make them yourself or buy them!?

Have you got your favourite recipe?

How do you stave off the winter blues?

We would love to hear from you and if you can share your recipe as well, it would make someone happy:)
